Business Intelligence – Time for Three Dimensional Thinking

Business Intelligence and Analytics, Predictive Models, and overall acceleration of data science has been pretty remarkable over the last decade.

However a third dimension is needed – akin to an aircraft with the ability to fly and traverse to wherever data and the sources of value are located. Backwards, forwards, left and right are now augmented by Up and Down. Complete, unfettered navigation around the enterprise provides the degree of flexibility needed to improve the efficiency of the journey to one’s destination. The only way to achieve this is to decouple the analytics from the systems and data integration pre-requisites, from the need for pre-built roads or tracks.
