Business Intelligence and Analytics Shift Toward Self-Service

The world of business intelligence (BI) and data analytics is undergoing an enormous shift, according to industry experts.

As BI becomes an integral part of everyday life for an increasing number of employees, BI tools and access will be made accessible across the organization and move outside the sole purview of the IT department. For IT managers at midsize businesses, this means that some workload will shift away, but it will likely be replaced with additional responsibilities surrounding the creation and support of tools that interface with BI solutions.
