Forget Big Data: What You Need Is Deep Data

Although the field of analytics is (still) more style than substance, it is certainly a sign of progress that in any industry and profession we are at least trying to shift from intuitive to data-driven decisions.

Even HR, which is not an early adopter in any area of innovation, let alone technology, has embraced the need to leverage data to enhance individual, team, and organizational performance, though progress is slower than it should be.
