Big Data 2017: The future is cloudy

The old adage about two heads being better than one can well apply to this blog — except in this case, it’s three heads. And one of the fun things about writing this blog is getting the chance to pick up where my colleagues leave off.

Last week, Andrew and George unveiled their crystal balls, and there was more than passing similarity to what we laid out in our Ovum forecast, available here. For the record, we predicted that machine learning would be the biggest disruptor for Big Data analytics going forward. It’s hard to ignore the machine learning and AI juggernaut.
