Is It Time To Dumb Down Your Data Analytics?

Despite big data’s growing complexity, enthusiasm for it has not diminished in the slightest. The Economist Intelligence Unit reports that 60% of professionals believe data generates revenue, while 83% believe it makes products and services more profitable.

And more than 55% of the 476 global executives surveyed said they routinely generate value from data. But as the volume and complexity of data under analysis multiplies, gleaning insights becomes more laborious and error-prone. Simplifying the process allows decision makers to focus on the most relevant insights and IT teams to handle the technical challenges of big data.
