The data warehouse is alive and continues to be needed, but it also needs to be modernized. Data warehouse modernization can occur in any or all of three areas: platform, architecture, and management processes. This is the first in a series of four planned articles On the Path to Modernization. In this article I’ll discuss cloud migration as a form of platform modernization.
