Healthcare organizations have quickly revved up their big data analytics strategies in an effort meet the challenges of value-based care, according to a new survey from the Deloitte Center for Health Solutions.
Since 2015, provider groups have invested heavily in securing executive leadership, data science talent, and health IT tools to support sophisticated big data analytics pilots and programs. While just 40 percent of organizations had a defined data analytics strategy in 2015, seventy percent reported a unified vision for data-driven healthcare in 2018, the poll found.
